Well this calculator will show you if you are on the right track.

http://cgi.money.cnn.com/tools/millionaire/millionaire.html

It appears to be straight forward, and I am pretty happy with my results, Oprah, Trump and maybe Gates watch out! :D I am sure everyone who uses it will be able to see just how much they can put away every month or year in order to get into the 7 digits!

2007 is fast ending, and as we approach 2008, it is time to put strategies into place for financial success.

Here’s to everyone who reads this, may you be thankful for what life has to offer you and your loved ones. Though this is an American holiday, its something we can all incorporate n our lives. Money cant buy love, joy and happiness, so never get too caught up in it, that you lose yourself in the process.

Initially I was slightly annoyed seeing this article located here in Business Week
Kidsploitation

at the people profiting from the business, but then I realized its really not their fault, they saw a market and took advantage of it. If there is anyone to blame it is the parents who are raising their children up in this manner that even a baby deserves a platinum Gucci pacifier!! After we all know how Paris Hilton keeps her dog Tinker in strictly designer gear :)

There are a couple of financial freedom information that I am checking out online, to diversify how I can make more money, this one below being one of them. For anyone interested, feel free to click and find out more for yourself.

Have you ever wondered… how some people can appear to do far less than you do in a day and yet they have more money and more free time than you’ll ever get to see? Let’s face it… deep inside you know there is a better way. And you are absolutely right!Let us show you how YOU can make Financial Freedom a reality!

Whenever I tell people to set aside 10% of their income for investing, I hear the same complaint, “I dont have enough money!”, for which I say have you considered picking up another job or two, to get more money? They follow up sayin, “I dont have enough time!”, for which I say “you do know people work from home right?” I personally do that, I have at home projects that I do as I eat, watch TV and chit chat on the phone! Part time job of 10hrs which makes me $1000+/month is a big deal for me considering I could have spent those 10hrs doing the same thing and not earning a dime! Plus the $1000+ only increases every month, and so I’m making $12,000-$20,000/yr to eat, watch TV and “waste” time at home. Thats all money I can reinvest and get a 400% return in a few years anyway.

So the main question is how do you know what to do, or what someone can pay you to do. I say what are you good at? If you are good at writing, well get them to pay you to write articles, or even transcribe audio. If you are great at yapping and talking, have them pay you to stay at home and be and at home research data collector (Westat pays about $9/hr for that)

If you are a super sports fan, there are people looking for folks to write sports articles. If you have a knack for writing superb cover letters and resumes, well guess what people are looking for folks to edit or write theirs! Take me for example, someone wants to pay me about $800 to write a journal article, doesnt sound like much till I tell you the journal articles take me about 3hrs to write! Thats being paid about $266/hr for me to type away from the comfort of my home, as I sip on my smoothie, and watch Grey’s Anatomy and 24!!!

There are a couple of places online to check out, but my all time favorite is Guru.com

It costs nothing to see the freelance jobs posted, but in order to bid, you need to have at least the basic membership which is about $74 or so for a quarterly period which is about 3months. Lets just say I paid that and made it back with my 1st job that I did. Quick tips that I have are

1) Always bid on lower end, some companies have long term jobs anyway so better to get a $40 every week than to bid $80 and get no job period!

2) Experiment and occasionally go for what folks appear to ignore, you are trying to build up credibility on Guru

3) When you apply, always give them an incentive to hire you, give them a teaser or sampler of what you can do. If they want someone to write an article or a book, tell them how you would approach it.

4) Always say that you are available immediately, and be available. I’ve had a company call me to see if I could get a job done in 3hrs, and since I was free and at home, I did it, even though the payout wasnt great, but the $50 filled up my gas tank anyway!

Thats all I can think about, I could go on and on, if anyone wants to know more, feel free to ask me specific questions.

This article basically says it all

http://money.cnn.com/2007/11/07/news/companies/gm/index.htm

Another reason why I refuse to touch any of the Big 3 stocks even with a pole! How many yrs is it going to take GM to come out from this mess. The emerging markets just keep getting better!!

Whats a millionaire without the extra letters behind your name? So I decided I needed to gain credibility, rack on a couple of masters and PhDs to my name. It all sounded impossible till I came across this site,

http://www.instantdegrees.com/

Wanna be a Dr in 5 days?

how about that MBA in 5days?

anything you want, they have it

look again at that website design, and that should be enough of an answer.

To think they’ve been in existence for 6 years running that scam.

Oh well, you could sign up, and try to use it to fool your kids that mom and dad have degrees in blah blah blah, so they should try to aspire to do more.

Then again given the price, thats one expensive computer print out!

Talk about a big joke!

Sounds like an oxymoron right? Well not according to Yahoo news, Read this for more.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20071101/lf_nm_life/wealth_millionaires_dc

Move over celebrities, entertainers, athletes, Donald Trump, Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, there’s a new crop of millionaires in town and they are growing at a rate of 15% every yr. Their names are Mrs Johnson from next door, and Mr Smith who takes walks every evening. It could very well be you as well! Look at what they say is needed

“the four main characteristics of a millionaire were that they were hard working, networked, persistent even in the face of failure, and put themselves in the flow of money.”

What I found especially interesting is almost 90% of them believe anyone can be a millionaire! These are people who have undergone the obstacles yet they all feel it is so easily attainable. What more evidence do you need?

Here’s another Web Special, get to check your Experian credit report

and pay nothing. Something to look into.

OneBuckWiki!

Ok I remember when this idea came out, but I didnt think much of it, till I saw it today on internet mogul John Chow’s website

Now it all really makes sense to me, this whole OneBuckWiki concept, matter of fact the Business keyword just sold for over $6000 on ebay. Mind you the owner bought it for $1, yes a BUCK!

For business owners see it as a great way of generating heavy traffic to your websites, and for also generating revenues in the forms of ads (links and banners).

I unfortunately waited and got mine at $10, but once they reach 2000 pages, each page will go up to $20, when it gets to 3000 pages, each one will go up to $30 and so forth. There are still many great keywords left, matter of fact I was able to purchase 5 awesome keywords

  • Facebook (I was very surprised it was still available, as Ebay and Myspace are already taken up), This one is definitely going to have me smiling all the way to the bank! See what I told you about opportunities being available, I find it amazing that noone up till now had thought to buy it even when they remembered to get Ebay and Myspace!

All my keywords are available for sale but only at the right offer obviously, you can look at the keywords and see for yourself the HUGE profits that I will see. Its not too late for you either, why dont you get on OneBuckWiki.com and get yours before you end up missing out. I will keep you all updated as to my income from all 5 pages including sales.

Bill Gates love child? That got your attention huh :)
funny yeah right, he has none that I’m aware of, and even if so, no it isnt you, or your sister or your best friend’s sister either!

I hear all those comments, wow I wish I were Oprah’s daughter, or if Trump was my daddy, wow I’ll be a millionaire!
Well as you and I know, you arent, Oprah doesnt have any kids, and Trump’s kids are millionaires, so go look for your own daddy.
Many times we get in the habit of staying in the “If” mentality, if the earth wasnt round, it would be…blah blah who cares, its round so deal with it!!

My point is many of us need to stop wishing upon a star, and doing something with the star we already have.
We spend so much time dreaming that when opportunity presents itself, we do not see it. Take for example the money I’m offering for free on my blog, I am yet to see any solid response, mind you its $40 for Oct and nothing, yet those same people will be the first to run off to buy a lottery ticket, spend $10 and win nothing. Thats the wishing upon a star mentality, when all the whole real opportunities are up for the grabs in front of your face. You only see it when others do, when others will be winning $100s and $1000s off my blog in a few months thats when all of a sudden, the giveaway becomes attractive to you. But guess what, it becomes attractive to everyone else and the competition becomes fierce!

In the next couple of days, I’ll be covering opportunities that others are taking advantage of which are also right within your reach. Ways of making extra income that you can use and invest in bigger ventures with higher ROIs. Yup even if you find easy means to make an extra $100 or $1000/mth, that can turn around to $500,000 in 20yrs.
